What is EASYBALANCE?

Easy Balance

EASYBALANCE is an absorbent balancing powder which is placed directly inside truck and bus tyres. Its ability to redistribute itself when the vehicle is moving maintains optimal balance of the tyre and rim at all times throughout the tyre's lifetime.

The product has been on the market since 1994 and since then has demonstrated its ability to balance vehicle tyres in both Sweden and the rest of Europe.

Tests have shown that:

  • EASYBALANCE causes no damage or wear to tyres or carcasses.
  • EASYBALANCE absorbs moisture without forming lumps.
  • EASYBALANCE reduces tyre wear by up to 20% compared with conventional balancing.
  • Tyres balanced with EASYBALANCE wear more evenly.

EASYBALANCE is sold in single pouches of 100, 200, 300, 350 and 500g as well as 7.5kg tubs with a dosing scoop.

How does EASYBALANCE work?

EASYBALANCE balancing powder is placed directly into the tyre during fitting.

When the vehicle is stationary, EASYBALANCE lies at the bottom of the tyre. When the vehicle reaches a speed of at least 25 to 30 km/hr, centrifugal force distributes EASYBALANCE around the inside of the tyre. The tyre absorbs the vibrations that occur between the road and the tyre and EASYBALANCE is moved to the point that is out of balance. If the imbalance point changes, the distribution of EASYBALANCE changes too.
